Pablo Mazuecos

Versatility and good taste would be two attributes that define this pianist. Its different influences based on classical music and jazz, especially, make it a box of surprises; Being able to pass from a delicate sound to an energetic touch that does not leave indifferent to the public.

Creator of different groups of jazz and chamber music, it is possible to emphasize his illusion to spread the music, creating atmospheres that excite in a space and determined time, depending on the sensations that inspire the place to him.

Bori Albero

One of the most requested bass players on the jazz scene in Spain.

His solid and rhythmic form of playing the double bass as well as his great musicality make it unique above many.

He has played with renowned jazz musicians such as Lee Konitz, Barry Harris, Dado Moroni, Chano Domínguez and many others.

He is also the titular double bassist for the prestigious Clasijazz Big Band.

ANA PEDROSA

JUNE, 8. Almerian singer of classical music training. With diverse musical influences, from pop music, indie, soul, passing through flamenco, to a current deep devotion to jazz. In recent years, she attended courses and received training in jazz from leading singers and musicians national and international.

ANA MARÍA PÉREZ

JUNE, 15. She began studying guitar at age 8 at the Conservatoire of Almería, but her passion for singing would come many years later, when she had the chance to be the lead singer of the current Big Band “Swing and Funky” of Almeria. All thanks to this band it received practically completed the study with teachers like Celia Mur, Irene Lombard, Eva Jiménez and Irene Shams. She is currently contralto vocal octet “Sietemasuno”, a group of eight voices “a cappella” makes a tour of the modern music of the twentieth century, and its lyrical side is part of the choir of the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada and the Youth Choir of Andalusia since 2015.

ANTONIO GONZÁLEZ

JUNE, 22. He is currently considered among the most outstanding Andalusian saxophonists. Classically trained at first and self-taught in his evolution towards creative music, he participates in some of the most interesting projects in the field of jazz. He has a long musical career despite his youth; He has played with some of the best jazz musicians nationally and internationally in important festivals and has participated in numerous recordings.

His playing and how to express themselves through music has been molded and hardened over the years playing, learning and enjoying with musicians like Perico Sambeat, Barry Harris, Lee Konitz, Eric Alexander, Benny Golson, Kurt Elling, Albert Bover, Bob Mintzer, Toni Belenguer, Fabio Miano or Bob Sands among many others.

MIKE FLETCHER

JUNE, 29. He was born in Birmingham (United Kingdom). He finished his studies at the Birmingham Jazz Conservatory in 2005 and has since established a solid and personal reputation as a musician and composer. He has directed several groups from trio to big band and has performed in national and international festivals.

His musical versatility has led him to play and record with musicians such as Tony Bianco, John Dankworth, Paul Dunmall, Bobby Previte, Tony Levin and Dan Weiss.

SARA MARCOS

JULY, 6. This Madrilenian settled in Almería is the vocalist of the Big Band Swing and Funk of Clasijazz for some years, as well as of the project “Tribute to Cole Porter” that was presented in the Apollo Theater of Almería in November last year. Passionate from childhood for the classics of black and white cinema, it is in these where her passion for jazz is born and it is in Almería where she has trained with teachers like Noemi Perez, Celeste Alías and Irene Shams. Thanks to the Big Band she has shared stage with Ignasi Terrace, Susana Sheiman or Ramón Cardo, among others. Her personal, intimate and sweet voice will carry us tonight to the golden age of jazz.
